Due to the multiple disasters generated by Mitch hurrycane in Central American territory, LA RED decided to support the Permanent Comission of Contingencies - COPECO for the quick inventory of the effects of the hurrycane, an institution that had been working previously with DesInventar. For such purposes reports from the National Commission of Emergencies were used. The database has 294 reports, one for each municipality affected.
