Gainsville (EEUU) June 21-23, 2000

Under the framework of ENSO project, from June 21th to 23th (2000) it was holded in Gainsville (U.S.A) a training workshop in the applications and implementation of the Disaster Inventory System DesInventar.

The Training Workshop was guided by Cristina Rosales to the ENSO project team of United States, including the co-researcher of the Department of Anthropology of the University of Florida, Dr Anthony Oliver Smith. Cand. Dr. Alejandro León, co-researcher of the project in Chile, from University of Chile also attended to the workshop.

The Training Workshop helped participants to became familiar with both methodology and software DesInventar through many practices and exercises with data available for La Florida; the participants also learned to use all of the functions and facilities of both modules DesInventar and DesConsultar.
