Once developed the methodology and finished the DesInventar software in
1995, the activities of the development groups were centered in the
construction of inventories of disasters for 8 countries, under the
framework of the LA RED project Disaster inventories in Latin America. The
participant countries in were: Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa
Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico. The project was developed in two
phases the first one to cover the period 1990 - 1994 and the second period
1988 - 1998, in this phase the Panama country particpated in the project. As
a result of this second phase we have the fnal reports, that we present
here:
